Bob Ellis Photography

I am a part-time professional photographer. I love landscape, seascape and wildlife photography. This has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and will be for as long as I can click the shutter. I try to photograph an image and present it as close to reality as possible. However, I realize that a camera doesn't necessarily project the image as the eye sees it. With today's technology, I am able to adjust a photographic image to what I saw while taking the photograph. That's not to say I don't work sometimes in a more abstract or "artistic" direction. Some may call me a photographic artist. That is what I am.

More From Our Coastal Ride

One of the first things we saw in the morning were these balloons going up.  We see them alot on our way to the coast on the summer weekends.  This time I literally jetted off the highway and headed down the ranch land roads.  I took some pictures, which seemed to take second place to the actual coast images.  After looking at them some more, I thought...I've always wanted to photograph a moment like this, but wasn't sure I liked the pictures.  Study your images, see your thoughts and create what your impression of the moment was.  Here are a couple of the images from the early morning.  Enjoy!

"Balloons And Sunflowers"

"Ranch Lands And Ballooning"

"Balloon Rides"

"Light Me Up And Away We Go"

Makes me want to do more of this type of photography.  Maybe the balloon races in Reno in September?  We'll see!

Love these Bob! One of the things that really impresses me about you is your willingness to do whatever it takes to get out there and photograph
