Bob Ellis Photography

I am a part-time professional photographer. I love landscape, seascape and wildlife photography. This has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and will be for as long as I can click the shutter. I try to photograph an image and present it as close to reality as possible. However, I realize that a camera doesn't necessarily project the image as the eye sees it. With today's technology, I am able to adjust a photographic image to what I saw while taking the photograph. That's not to say I don't work sometimes in a more abstract or "artistic" direction. Some may call me a photographic artist. That is what I am.

Still More April Surprises!

I don't know if I have anything more to say.  April was a great month and I think this is all of them.  I hope!  Haven't had a chance to do anything in May.  OH KNOW!  I better plan a ride in the next couple of weeks.

Here is an image I took in Dry Town.  On the Golden Chain.  It is also one I worked up in a few different ways.  I think they all have qualities.

"Moving Day"

"Moving Day"  B&W

"Moving Day" Vintage

On the way to Oregon, up HWY 5, you can't miss this mountain.  It's magic!

"Mt Shasta I"

"Mt Shasta II"

"Port-O-Call"

In the town of Bandon, Oregon, in Old Town is this bait shot and cafe that was totally awesome.  I couldn't resist.

"Abandoned Farm"

"Enlightened Tree"

"Wild Chamomile"

Well...we're finally getting down to some slim pickings.  And, you're probably getting tired of seeing all these pictures.  So, I think that will be all until May's can be posted.  I just wanted to share one more with you.  This is probably my favorite falls to date.  I know I will see many more, but for now, this is the best picture I have of it.  I'd like to share it with you.  Enjoy
